The Harlequin Series of Limited-Edition Prints
No. 36
In celebration of the acquisition of Monochrome Consultancy by Kerv. Harlequin’s 8th transaction with Alastair Mills and 36th in total.
The print is by Mark Lord https://linolord.com based in Watlington.
After creating a home studio with his wife, Becky, just 4 years ago Mark rediscovered lino cutting after last doing a few linocuts back at his Foundation course in Art and Design at Falmouth in 1994. When Covid struck his photography career was temporarily put on hold as he ‘Stayed at Home’ and he was able to dedicate more time to developing his printmaking.
Mark loves the artisanal process of carving the lino, inking the plate then printing either by hand or with his Gunning etching press on beautiful handmade printing paper. The prints he produces celebrates his love of his home county of Cornwall, the countryside and some retro chic thrown into the mix.
His prints are great quality and affordable art for your homes and interiors. The prints Mark produces are limited editions of 50 or 25 and printed by him in his Oxfordshire studio.
